In the battle against the Coronavirus one is advised to follow the Texas colloquialism: “Don’t get off the horse, precisely when it’s bucking.” My own way of staying on top of the bucking Coronavirus horse is to persist in sharing with you my politically-incorrect assessments on critical issues as listed below.
For example, according to Gallup, Israel’s February 2020 favorable rating among Americans is the highest since 1989 (74%), second only to January 1991 (79%), when Israel was targeted by Iraqi Scud missiles during the First Gulf War. The Palestinian Authority’s favorable rating in February 2020 – 23%.
The historical and geo-strategic background of Israel’s favorable standing among Americans will be discussed during the new initiative of online lectures (upon request by organizations and individuals) and Webinars (initiated by Ambassador Ettinger) on US-Israel relations and the Middle East:
- The US investment in – not foreign aid to – Israel;
- The 400th anniversary of the unique US-Israel kinship;
- Middle East reality vs. Western wishful-thinking;
- The impact of the proposed Palestinian state on US interests;
- The impact on US interests by Israel’s control of Judea, Samaria (West Bank) and the Golan Heights;
- No Arab demographic time bomb; but a robust demographic Jewish tailwind;
- Is the Palestinian issue a core cause of Middle East turbulence, a crown jewel of Arab policy-makers and the crux of the Arab-Israeli conflict?
- The Palestinian vision vs Palestinian diplomacy;
- Anti-US Islamic terrorism (what makes Iran’s Ayatollahs run?);
- Israel’s minimum security requirements in the Middle East reality.
